THAT HONG KONG LOOK

Ik was niet van plan te bloggen over deze outfit maar na de foto’s te zien die mijn man had genomen voor Instagram, vond ik ze zo leuk dat ik er toch een kleine blogpost over schrijf. Ze zijn gewoon in onze tuin genomen na een vlug bezoek aan Ikea 🙂 maar de achtergrond met de bamboe geeft een tropisch gevoel 🙂

De outfit heb ik volledig geshopt in Hong Kong. Mijn man zijn roots liggen daar en we proberen toch iedere 2 jaar op familiebezoek te gaan. De nodige shopping stops worden in de agenda ingepland en zo kom ik meestal met een extra koffer vol nieuwe item naar huis 😉

Beide items zijn one size (dat ik maar 1 m 60 groot of moet ik zeggen klein ben helpt wel 😉 ). De blouse is in een luchtig stofje en ideaal voor de zomer. Hong Kong heeft tal van shopping malls meestal gevuld met tal van kleine winkeltjes vol Korean style items. Helemaal mijn ding : losse fit, iets anders van snit. Net zoals de blouse ik hier draag. Love it.

I didn’t plan to blog about this outfit but I liked the pictures so much my husband took for Instagram that I just needed to share them on my blog also. We took them really quickly after a visit at Ikea and I just love the ’tropical feeling’ you get with the bamboo in the back, although they are just taken in our garden.

The full outfit was bought in Hong Kong. My husband has his roots in Hong Kong so every 2 years we try to visit his family. Of course a few shoppingstops are added in the planning and most of the time I come back with an extra bag fully stuffed with new items 🙂

Both items are one size (I am only 1.60m so that helps 🙂 ). The blouse is in a very light fabric which is perfect for summer. Hong Kong is fully packed with shopping malls stuffed with small shops mostly filled with Korean style clothing. Totally my style: loose fit and different cutting. Like this blouse I am wearing right here.  Love that.
