Pastels can be pretty great in wintertime. Soft colours can bright up a dull, dark day and they are very generous for your skintone. If you choose for a coat in a soft colour but with a bright tone it can really light up your face. And don’t we all need this in wintertime ? 😉
I totally fell for this checked coat of River Woods. The fit is oversized and the sleeves are a bit shorter. I love the soft colours and it can easily be combined with grey, black, denim or dark blue. Even a pastel colour for a full soft look and also camel goes great with pastel tones.
I combined the coat with a cosy jumper, a skinny, washed down jeans and cool boots. The perfect outfit to go for a cold afternoon walk on a Sunday with the kids.
